Coldplay : de ses débuts à aujourd'hui

Le groupe britannique Coldplay s'est formé au milieu des années 90 à Londres, à l'University College London, où le chanteur principal a rencontré Jonny Buckland. Plus tard, ils ont accueilli le bassiste et Will Champion, complétant la formation. Au début nommé Pectoralz, la bande s'est rebaptisé en Coldplay deux ans plus tard. Leur premier EP, intitulé Safety, est sorti la même année, leur permettant de se faire connaître sur la scène musicale. Leur album inaugural, intitulé Parachutes, publié en 2000, a connu un succès mondial, grâce au single "Yellow", devenu un tube planétaire.
